Rabbit

As discussed in respect of the hare, the family Leporidae includes rabbits as well as hares – so rabbits, as well as hares, could strictly be described as 'leporine'. I would suggest, however, that in common parlance that adjective is normally used to refer to hares.

Wiktionary suggests four other adjectives, as well as leporine, that can be used to describe rabbits: 'rabbitlike', 'rabbity', 'rabbitish' (none of which is much use in a quiz) and cunicular (from the Latin, cuniculus – meaning either a rabbit or its burrow).
